First Contact

Yesterday, we had our first face-to-face contact with our host for our stay in New Zealand. He was in Milwaukee at a conference where R was speaking. Can't imagine flying in all the way from there for a 3 day conference. But he did and he was friendly and coherent. He even met thet kids. I think, however, that the most lasting thing that the family got out of the meeting was learning to say, or maybe even to just hear, "Gdde." You can impress your (other) friends and family members with your New Zealand accent!
